Police investigating 3 burglaries of offices
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Police are investigating a rash of office burglaries.
The latest was reported around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mercer County Messenger Service at 1834 E. State St., where someone overnight broke a window to get into the office and stole a small amount of cash.
The burglar apparently was injured breaking the window, police said, noting there was a lot of blood around the area.
A burglar also broke into the office of Dr. Russell Wible, a dentist, at 701 N. Hermitage Road sometime over the weekend. A small amount of money and a business credit card were taken.
Police said a burglar broke a window at Jazwinski's Financial Services at 1479 N. Hermitage Road around 11:45 a.m. Sunday but was apparently scared off when an alarm sounded. Nothing was taken.
