EVENTS Scenic Vista Park

Columbiana County Park District programs scheduled at Scenic Vista Park, 11000 Wayne Bridge Road, Lisbon. Except for the Civil War re-enactment, all events are free.
Saturday and Sunday: The park's annual Civil War re-enactment, with encampments and battle demonstrations by Civil War re-enactors. The event also includes a demonstration of soap making, a fashion show of period clothing, a ladies tea, a rolling pin toss, a blue-gray tug-of-war and a dress ball. Admission is $5 with children under 10 free. The event is open to the public at 10 a.m. and battle demonstrations are at 2 p.m. each day.
Aug. 30: Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society will bring its telescopes to the park for a night sky show beginning at 8 p.m. Society members will guide visitors on a tour of the night sky. Visitors should enter the park with headlights off so as not to disturb the night vision of those already in the park.
