Aug. 11
Drug abuse: A 36-year-old Salem man was arrested on charges of possession of a bottle containing suspected marijuana during a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.
Aug. 12
Drug paraphernalia: A 16-year-old Canfield youth was arrested on charges of underage possession of tobacco and possession of drug paraphernalia when police found a tobacco pipe on him containing suspected marijuana residue during a traffic stop on Fairview Avenue.
Aug. 13
Property report: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Blueberry Hill Drive.
Aug. 16
Stolen money: Police are investigating a theft of $290 in cash from a residence in the 100 block of Callahan Road.

Aug. 10
Criminal damaging: A toilet was damaged at Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave., and a suspect was arrested.
Criminal damaging: A window screen and frame were damaged in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: A truck mirror was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: A fence was damaged at a residence in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Theft: Clothing was stolen from the Dollar General store, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: $117 in currency was taken from the 3000 block of Huntmere Avenue.
Theft: Money was reported stolen from the TA Truck Stop, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: Cash was taken from a residence in the 3700 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Theft: A portable stop sign was stolen from Burkey Road and South Raccoon Road.
Tampering: A Pepsi machine was tampered with at Emmanuel Church, 6512 Kirk Road.
Attempted breaking and entering: A garage window and screen were pried open at Emmanuel Church, 6512 Kirk Road.
Theft: A library card was reported stolen at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: $160 was stolen from Alterra, 120 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Abduction: A man was arrested and placed in county jail and the victim, a 14-year-old male, was returned to his mother in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Harassment: A letter was received in the mail in the 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A debit card was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: An employee stole merchandise over the past five months at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A Sony PlayStation was stolen from the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
Criminal damaging: Tires were cut on a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A windshield was broken on a vehicle in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: A 25-inch Huffy mountain bike was stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.
Auto theft: A 1985 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Vehicle tires were damaged at Pete & amp; Charlie's, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $580 in currency was stolen from a purse in the 60 block of Lexington Avenue.
Theft from auto: Two vehicles were entered and a Sony radio stolen at Noday's Auto, 1381 S. Raccoon Road.
Missing plates: Two sets of license plates were stolen from vehicles at Don Munn Auto Sales, 5882 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A bronze plaque was stolen from Wedgewood Center, 1749 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged by a pellet gun in the residential 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.

Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken in the residential 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Receiving stolen property: A woman is a suspect in stealing a validation sticker off a license plate in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Counterfeit money: A counterfeit $100 bill was stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Items were reported missing from a vehicle that was towed in the residential 5000 block of New Road.

Stolen: A trailer was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 100 block of South Meridian Road.
Theft: Shrubbery and a lock were taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Washington Square.
Attempted burglary: It is unknown if anything was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.
