Charter school will still be in Sharpsville
SHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- The Advanced Charter Enterprise School, a new charter school created by Mercer County's 12 public school districts, will still be in Sharpsville this year, but not at South Pymatuning Elementary.
The Sharpsville Area School Board had leased 20,000 square feet of that building to the charter school for $90,000 a year, but it isn't ready for occupancy.
Instead, the school board agreed Monday to lease the charter school two rooms in its Seventh Street building for $607 a month for this school year.
