Ohio Rippers 16-under travel team -- will hold tryouts at the following times: Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove Park; Saturday at 6 p.m. at Garrettsville Village Park; Sunday at noon at Lordstown Park; Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at Shalersville Park. TICKETS
Mooney vs. East Liverpool -- football game tickets are on sale all week at Mooney's office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $6 for reserve, $5 for general admission and $3 for students. The game is Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium.
Boardman vs. Uniontown Lake -- football game tickets are on sale at the athletic office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.
