Aug. 11
Arrest: Police arrested a 32-year-old Youngstown man on charges of obstructing official business and possession of drugs after a Youngstown man reported being the victim of identity theft.
Arrest: Police arrested a 48-year-old Aravesta Avenue man at a residence in the 4500 block of Euclid Boulevard for drug abuse.
Arrest: A 39-year-old Poland woman was charged with receiving stolen property after an employee at Motherhood Maternity in the Southern Park Mall reported a $300 display table stolen.
Vandalism: A woman in the 7700 block of Amberwood Trail discovered a 20-foot section of her lawn damaged.
Auto theft: A 1992 Ford Tempo was missing from a parking lot in the 6800 block of South Avenue.
Theft: An Ohio dealer plate was missing from a car at Cornerstone Detailing, 8133 Market St.
Auto theft: A 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 was stolen in the 100 block of Maple Avenue.
Forgery: A woman in the 8500 block of Ivy Hills Drive reported a $270 Sky Bank check was forged and that her Sky Bank debit card was misused.
Credit-card fraud: An Austintown woman reported her debit card was fraudulently used at various Boardman locations.
Burglary: A woman discovered her residence in the 6700 block of Lockwood Boulevard was broken into and a Nintendo game cube, a game system and 24 Nintendo games stolen.
Theft: A man stole four cartons of cigarettes from a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Burglary: A man reported a plastic jug containing $50 worth of coins stolen from his residence in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue. Also, a woman discovered a $50 compact-disc player was removed from her home.
Theft: A woman reported a CD case and 45 CDs stolen from her vehicle parked at Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.
Aug. 12
Arrests: After responding to a report of two men unable to pay their food bill at Perkins Family Restaurant, 804 Boardman-Poland Road, police arrested a Sharon, Pa., man, 26, and a Hermitage, Pa., man, 40. They were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police alleged finding suspected crack pipes in their possession. One man also was charged with misuse of a credit card.
Robbery: An employee at The Paper Doll Collection, 6961 Market St., reported a man assaulted and robbed her at the business. A $10,000 yellow and white gold diamond ring was stolen.
Theft: Police arrested a girl, 16, and a woman, 46, both from Youngstown, on theft charges after two packets of toe rings were stolen from the JCPenney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A man stole a $1,000 laptop computer from an office at Callos Personnel Services, 5083 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, 12 and 13, in the 50 block of Midlothian Boulevard. One was charged with theft and the other with complicity to theft after a woman in the 60 block of Terrace Drive reported a bicycle stolen from her driveway.
Robbery: A man reported two men, one in his 40s and the other in his 50s, robbed him in the 500 block of Boardman-Poland Road. The victim's wallet containing $85 and numerous credit cards was stolen.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet stolen while she shopped at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman reported her purse taken from her while the victim was in her garage in the 6000 block of Glenridge Road.
Arrest: Police arrested a 15-year-old Youngstown girl in the 4100 block of South Avenue and charged her with being an unruly juvenile.
Theft: A woman reported 15 cassette tapes, a vehicle registration, two bandanas and a wallet stolen from her vehicle parked at Tinseltown USA, 7401 Market St.
Theft: A man reported a cigarette case was removed from his father's car parked at Tinseltown USA.
Arrest: Police arrested a 35-year-old Boardman woman, at a residence in the 4500 block of Euclid Boulevard, on a charge of possession of drugs.
Aug. 13
Arrest: Police charged a 16-year-old Boardman girl with being a runaway and unruly juvenile.
Attempted breaking and entering: A woman in the 6700 block of Appleridge Circle discovered four pry marks on her patio door after someone tried to break into her residence.
Arrest: Police arrested a Euclid Boulevard man, 68, on two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.
Burglary: Police charged a 17-year-old Youngstown boy with burglary after a Lockwood Boulevard woman reported her home broken into while she was on vacation. Numerous Nintendo games were taken.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 37-year-old Lockwood Boulevard man in Salem and charged him with domestic violence after a woman reported a domestic situation at their residence.
Theft: A man discovered a CD player and 100 CDs missing from his vehicle parked in the 200 block of Oakley Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported her cellular phone stolen while she was at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A man reported someone stole his wallet and miscellaneous keys when he was receiving treatment at Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, 6505 Market St.
Credit-card fraud: A woman in the 40 block of North Cadillac Drive reported someone fraudulently used her Visa check card to make $374 worth of unauthorized purchases at unknown locations.
Theft: Police arrested a 15-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after a pair of athletic shoes was stolen from Payless Shoesource in the Southern Park Mall. She also was charged with obstructing official business after police say she provided false information.
Burglary: A woman reported a burglary to her residence in the 4800 block of Hopkins Road.
Attempted theft: A man tried to steal a $998 personal computer from Wal-Mart and fled in his vehicle.
Possible auto theft: A Lemans Drive woman alleged her former boyfriend took her 1999 Pontiac Sunfire without permission and failed to return the vehicle.
Credit-card fraud: A Slippery Rock, Pa., man discovered someone used his MasterCard at several Boardman businesses.
Assault: A Youngstown woman reported being assaulted while she was in the International House of Pancakes restaurant parking lot, 833 Boardman-Poland Road. She had two bruises on her upper left arm.
Aug. 14
Arrest: Police arrested a 29-year-old Warren man in Newark, Ohio, on charges of criminal simulation and theft by deception after an employee at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., reported a man cashed a $720 check that was self-made on a computer.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 25-year-old Homestead Drive man on a domestic-violence charge after his mother alleged he threatened her and damaged her residence.
Vandalism: A man discovered $125 in damage to his mailbox in the 7700 block of Crimson Trail.
Criminal damage: A woman reported three of her vehicle's tires were damaged when the car was parked in front of her residence in the 7600 block of Winterberry Drive.
Burglary: A man in the 4500 block of Waseka Lane reported a $600 bicycle stolen from his garage.

Aug. 13
Arrest: After responding to a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of North Main Street, police arrested a 36-year-old Poland man on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
