Youngstown Babe Ruth All-Stars lose, 2-0



QUINCY, Mass. -- Corey Collins fired a four-hitter in a complete-game effort, but the Youngstown Babe Ruth 14-year-old All-Stars were handed a 2-0 setback by Gibbsboro, N.J., to open pool play Saturday in the World Series.
Mike Hoelzel and Jesse Moses each had two hits for Youngstown, which will play Etowah County, Ala. Monday at 11 a.m.
Youngstown also has pool play games scheduled against Plymouth, Mass., and Shoreview, Minn.
