CLUB CALENDAR



CLUBS
XAustintown Eagles 3298 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the aerie. New members will be accepted. Hostesses are Karen Zapko and Donna Golak.
XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mt. Carmel. The theme is "The Immigrant Experience: From Italy to the Mahoning Valley," and the speakers will be Drs. Martha Pallante and Donna DiBlasio, professors at Youngstown State University. Reservations are required by Sept. 4 and may be mailed with checks of $11 for members or $16 for nonmembers to the OCA, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
XSt. Rose Church Quilters Club will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
XYoungstown American-Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., will hold a picnic for members and guests Aug. 24. Members are asked to take a casserole. The fee is $3 for members and $5 for guests. Chicken will be served beginning at 1:30 p.m. and there will be a bacon fry. Dues will be collected. Reservations can be made until Thursday by calling (330) 799-7008.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XOur Lady of Perpetual Help Church Parish Council will sponsor a picnic from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 at Woodland Park Pavilion, McDonald. Food to be provided will include chicken, pizza, and beverages. Those attending are asked to take their own casseroles. Those whose last names begin with the letters A to L should take a casserole to share. Those whose last name starts with M to Z should take a dessert to share. There will be games for the children, door prizes and much more. SINGLES
XCatholic Alumni Club will hold its annual membership day Aug. 30 at the K. of C. Hall in Poland. There will be a Mass at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 and dancing afterward. Cost is $20 per person, and reservations must be made by Wednesday by calling (330) 793-2437 or (330) 747-3215.
SOCIETIES
XHammond Organ Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church. Hosts will be Ruth and Dick Eddy and Betty Turnbull. After the meeting there will be a social hour and entertainment by members.
XMahoning Valley Rose Society will meet at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at the bank in the Austintown Plaza to tour several rose gardens in Austintown and Canfield. A meeting will follow at Davidson's Restaurant in Cornersburg.
