Angels for Animals Motorcyle Run set to begin at Harley-Davidson

CANFIELD -- The Sixth Annual Angels for Animals Motorcycle Run will start at noon Sept. 7 at Harley-Davidson of Youngstown, 4478 Boardman-Canfield Road.
All proceeds will benefit Angels for Animals by helping the shelter spay and neuter pets.
"There are just too many irresponsible pet owners," said Jim Creighton, organizer of the event. "We want to make the community aware."
The 60-mile run will end at Angels For Animals, 4750 state Route 165 in Canfield Township, where food and music will be provided.
Organizers did not announce the run's route.
Creighton said he expects at least 200 motorcyclists to participate.
Sign-up is from 10:30 a.m. to noon the day of the run, with the bikes leaving immediately at noon. Participants may also preregister and receive a free T-shirt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Harley-Davidson of Youngstown and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 at the Canfield Fair.
The fee is $25 per bike. For more information call Creighton at (330) 792-6347.
