ABWA chapter awards scholarship

WARREN -- Members of the Warren Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association met Aug. 5 at the Warren Scope Center. Those attending were given a tour of the facility's new Scope Unlimited Railroad, a miniature train garden called River Walk Station.
Highlighting the event was the chapter's presentation of a $1,200 grant and a $2,000 interest-free loan to Meghann Burger, a senior at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. Nita James, scholarship chairwoman, made the presentation.
