XPOLAND -- Stephanie Petrarca became the bride of Michael Sosnowski during a ceremony July 11 at Holy Family Church. Monsignor William Connell officiated at 2:30 p.m. for the daughter of Chuck and Annette Petrarca, Canfield, and Mike and Patti Sosnowski of Poland.
The newlyweds received guests during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman then left for a honeymoon in Las Vegas. They live in Boardman.
Embellished with silver embroidered flowers, rhinestones and pearls, the bride's strapless, silk satin gown was styled with a fitted bodice and A-line skirt with detachable train.
Mrs. Sosnowski is an elementary teacher in Western Reserve School System. She earned a bachelor's degree in education at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in education.
A carpenter, her husband is employed by B & amp; B Construction.
The bride's sister, Nicole Varone, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Melissa Riley, Monica Hughes and Maggie Sosnowski, the groom's sisters, and Megan Holecko, her cousin. Junior bridesmaids were Presley Philomena and Katie Elander, the bride's cousins. They wore periwinkle gowns. The groom's niece, Julie Riley, was flower girl.
Pat Komara served as best man. Groomsmen were Marc Riley and Jim Hughes, the groom's brothers-in-law; Sam Muto, his cousin; and Dave Ratliff. Ring bearer was Matthew Elander, the bride's cousin.
