2003 home show to aidYSU's Center for Autism
POLAND -- Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and Tuscany Estates in Poland will sponsor the 2003 Tour of Tuscany Home Show, set for Sept. 12-14 and Sept. 18-21. Proceeds will benefit the Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University. The show will feature eight homes in the Poland neighborhood priced between $450,000 and $750,000, all professionally decorated and landscaped and built to the buyers' specifications.

Weirton Steel cutsmanagement jobs
WEIRTON, W.Va. -- Weirton Steel has cut nearly 11 percent of its management work force, laying off 37 workers and eliminating 19 other positions through attrition.
Weirton Steel has 474 management workers out of a total work force of about 3,400, Warren said.
The company, the nation's No. 2 tin producer, sought bankruptcy protection in May after racking up more than $700 million in losses over five years.
Weirton, which employs about 3,400 people, is operating under a $225 million debtor-in-possession financing package while it reorganizes.
Last week, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Edward Friend in Wheeling approved the Northern Panhandle steelmaker's plan to offer its top executives $4 million in bonuses to keep the executives on board until the company emerges from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
