XYOUNGSTOWN -- Melissa Gibson and Louis Hite, both of 4021 Woodsville Drive, New Port Richey, Fla., were married by the Rev. Barry Gordon during a ceremony July 19 at Baptist Gospel Tabernacle.
A reception followed at Willow Creek in Girard to honor the daughter of Charles and Rose Ann Gibson of the Woodsville Drive address and the son of Annette Hite and Robert Hite, both of Youngstown.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, Canada, the newlyweds live in Florida.
Mrs. Hite works in quality assurance at Lincare in Clearwater, Fla. She attended Bahkiti Academy, Clearwater, and graduated as a massage therapist.
Mr. Hite is employed as a department manager at Wal-Mart in New Port Richey.
A sweetheart neckline and long train highlighted the bride's gown.
Michelle Valentin, the bride's cousin, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Kristi Cuevas, the groom's cousin; Mindy and Mandy Hite, the groom's sisters; Davina First and Meghan Clark, the bride's cousins; and Colleen Graham and Dawn D'Andrea. They wore lilac dresses. The groom's cousin, Desarie Brown, was flower girl.
Best man was Michael Gibson, the bride's brother. Groomsmen were Miguel Cuevas, Tom Hite and Devin Matthews, the groom's cousins; John Gibson, the bride's brother; Loren Housel and Teddy Gibson, the bride's cousins; and Barry Brink. The bride's nephew, Zachary Gibson, was ring bearer.
