Man is arrested over child porn

BOARDMAN -- A 43-year-old township man is charged with seven felony counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.
Jon S. Bloyer of Sigle Lane is in Mahoning County Jail on $15,000 bond after being arraigned Thursday in Mahoning County Court, Boardman.
According to police, Bloyer was accessing child pornography inside the Girard Public Library earlier this week. Police said he forgot to sign off the computer when he was finished, and the next customer found the explicit material on a Web page that showed Bloyer's name. He might faces charges in Girard, too.
Boardman police Capt. Jack Nichols said a search warrant was issued, and Bloyer's home was searched Thursday afternoon. Police said they found in his home seven explicit pictures involving sexual conduct with minors.
Girard police Capt. Frank Bigowsky said an investigation in Girard by the Ohio State Highway Patrol is ongoing, and charges are likely in the near future.
