XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was the setting July 5 for the wedding of Joyell Christina Noday, Austintown, and Joseph R. Weimer, Roaming Shores. Officiating at the 3:30 p.m. service were the Revs. John Karabatsos, Kenneth Bachofsky and Anthony Demetri.
The daughter of Richard and Theodora Noday of Austintown and son of Gib and Diana Pugh, Warren, were honored during a reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove. After a honeymoon in Florida and the Bahamas, they live in Roaming Shores.
The bride wore a diamond white beaded satin tank dress styled with an inverted pleat front skirt.
Honor attendant was Lori Arnott and koumbara was Mariann Boyanowski. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Britt, Christine Faletti, Michelle Gaia, Carly Stanec, Melissa Styranec and Alexis Mamonis. They wore champagne-colored dresses. Flower girl was Miranda Noday.
Sharing the duties of best man were Steve Furlong and Angelo Ciminero. Koumbaro was Eric Fowler. Groomsmen were Jerry Byers, Mike Grossman, Matt Pieron and Scott Samu. Johnny Arnott was ring bearer.
Mrs. Weimer holds a master's degree in middle-grade education from Youngstown State University. Mr. Weimer earned a bachelor's degree in education at Mount Union College, Alliance, and a master's in exercise physiology at the University of Akron. They are teachers at Painesville Township Schools.
