State board revokesarea doctor's license
WARREN -- The State Medical Board of Ohio voted unanimously Wednesday to revoke Dr. David M. Baroff's medical license, meaning he can no longer practice medicine.
Baroff, who recently closed his Howland office, lives in Liberty Township.
According to documents from the state medical board, Baroff admitted to having sexual contact with patients in his office and in a local hospital.
A civil lawsuit was filed in March in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court by a former patient contending the doctor improperly medicated her, then sexually assaulted her.
No criminal charges have been filed.
