Youngstown's design review board approved these items Wednesday:
A 6-by-4 Nationwide Insurance sign for Kohler and Associates at 105 W. Federal St. The firm is in the old Napoli's Pizza location. The sign will be flush with the building facade.
Signs for the Insurance Center of Youngstown at 265 W. Federal St. The firm is in the old Health Food Store location. A sign and lettering on two windows already had been erected. The operators said they didn't know they needed prior approval. The board approved the sign and window despite the window lettering size exceeding city guidelines. Lettering planned for an additional set of windows also was approved, with a 5-inch limit on the letter size.
