CANFIELD
AUG. 6
Theft/drug paraphernalia: A 39-year-old Sebring man was arrested at Giant Eagle for theft and for having two crack pipes. The suspect stole meat, a can of coffee, 12 packs of cigars, bath tissue and a bag of snack chips.
Obstruction: A 61 year-old Alliance man and two 40-year-old Salem men were arrested on charges of obstruction of justice after trying to help a female prisoner flee from Mahoning County Court at 72 N. Broad St. The woman was conferring with the judge and prosecutor outside the building because she had a bad case of poison sumac when she broke away and ran to a car with the three men in it.

Marijuana: A 32-year-old Medina man was arrested for possession of 4.5 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop on West Main Street near the library.
Theft: A 47-year-old Austintown man was arrested for theft of razors from Giant Eagle.

AUG. 3
Criminal damage: A window was broken and beer bottles were broken on the porch of a home in the 4000 block of New Road. The suspect drove a red Cavalier.
Obstruction: A woman in the 2000 block of Woodland Trace was arrested for hiding a man who was wanted on a charge of grand theft.
Theft: A woman reported her car keys and driver's license stolen from her purse at Sammy's, 1722 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: $100 was stolen from a vehicle in the 7000 block of Backwater Cove.
Burglary: A personal check for $80 was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue.
Auto theft: A 2002 Nissan Xterra was stolen from the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft from auto: A JVC CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.
Burglary: A 1996 red Ford was stolen from the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue.

Theft from auto: A wallet was stolen from a car in the 1000 block of Woodgate Street.
Auto theft: A 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen after the suspect took the keys from the victim at Wedgewood Laundry, 4286 New Road.
Auto theft: A 1991 Buick Skylark was stolen from the 40 block of East Liberty Street.
Theft: Two soft-drink machines were broken into at Colla's Market, 5529 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: A door lock was damaged on a vehicle at Ruby Tuesday's, 5555 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: Money and an ashtray were stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Woodgate Street.

Criminal mischief: A paint ball was shot onto a house in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft from auto: A wallet was stolen from a car in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
