NORTH JACKSON -- The Northeast Ohio Balloon Pilots Association Hot Air Balloon liftoff will take place Aug. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the future site of the 2 Worlds Parks return to Idora. The site is one-fourth of a mile north of the state Route 534 exit from Interstate 76. The event is free to the public. For more information, call (330) 746-6980.
Tours of Lake Arthur
BUTLER, Pa. -- Moraine Preservation Fund is offering guided tours of Lake Arthur aboard the Nautical Nature. The fully enclosed pontoon boat is handicapped-accessible and can seat up to 50 people. Public cruises are at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays; 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Sundays; and 2 p.m. Thursdays. Cost is $5.25 for adults, $4.25 for seniors and $2.50 for kids.
