BRISTOLVILLE -- Registration for pupils new to Bristol Schools will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and again Aug. 18-21.
The first day of school for all pupils except kindergartners is Aug. 25.
Kindergarten orientation is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 25 at Farmington Elementary. The class and supply lists for elementary pupils will be posted at the school Aug. 19.
There will be an orientation for incoming fourth-graders at 11 a.m. Aug. 20 in the middle-school cafetorium. Schedules for pupils in grades seven through 12 may be picked up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday through Friday in the high school office.
Presentation about Ohioconcludes library program
BRISTOLVILLE -- Bristol Public Library's summer reading program concludes Tuesday.
Jeff Nicholas will present "How Ohio got its Oh!" at 2 p.m. Nicholas and his cartoon characters will share stories about Ohio's past.
Program participants should bring their reading logs and/or "Who am I" books. Participants must turn in their "Who am I" books by 4 p.m. Tuesday if they cannot attend the program.
Summer story time will conclude Thursday, with the 2 p.m. session.
An interpreter for the hearing impaired will be provided upon advance request.

Newton Falls registration
NEWTON FALLS -- Registration for new pupils entering Newton Falls Schools will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
Pupils in kindergarten through second grade will register at Arlington, grades three through six will register at the middle school, and grades seven through 12 will register at the high school office.
People who cannot attend the registration dates may call the respective schools to make arrangements: Arlington, (330) 872-5225; middle school, (330) 872-0695, and high school, (330) 872-5121.
Homeroom assignments for all pupils will be posted the morning of Aug. 22 at the respective buildings.
