BOSTON -- Kevin Millar hit the 10,000th homer at Fenway Park, a two-run shot in the eighth inning, and the Boston Red Sox rebounded from a doubleheader sweep by rallying to beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-4 Saturday night.
Fenway Park, which opened in 1912, joined Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium and the since-demolished Tiger Stadium as the only ballparks to have had at least 10,000 homers hit there.
Manny Ramirez hit a solo homer for Boston, his 100th in a Red Sox uniform to become the fastest player in team history to reach that plateau. It was his 1,388th at-bat with Boston. Jimmy Foxx did it in 1,390 at-bats.
Boston moved to within three games of the New York Yankees in the AL East a day after losing to the Orioles, 10-4 and 4-2, in a day-night doubleheader Friday.
Ramirez opened the eighth with a single off Travis Driskill (3-5) and was taken out for pinch-runner Damian Jackson.
David Ortiz followed with a single to left, and Jackson advanced to third on the hit. Gabe Kapler pinch-ran for Ortiz.
Jackson then scored on a wild pitch before Millar homered to left field.
Alan Embree (4-1) got Jay Gibbons to ground out with runners on first and second to end the eighth.
Byung-Hyun Kim worked the ninth and allowed Brook Fordyce's homer before getting his ninth save in 10 chances.
The Orioles were held hitless by Tim Wakefield until they took a 3-2 lead with three runs in the fourth.
After breezing through the first 10 outs, Wakefield gave up a one-out triple to Luis Matos. Jay Gibbons followed with and RBI single and Tony Batista homered into the seats above the Green Monster.
Ramirez tied it in the sixth by sending a 2-2 pitch over the Green Monster to halt a 6-for-41 slump.
Wakefield pitched 72/3 innings, allowing three runs on five hits with one walk and five strikeouts.

Athletics 7, White Sox 2
CHICAGO -- Ramon Hernandez homered twice and drove in a career-high five runs.
With the Kansas City Royals' 6-2 win over Tampa Bay, Chicago fell out of the top spot of the AL Central, which they held for a day.
The White Sox are a half-game behind the Royals.
The A's have won 13 of their last 19 games. The second-place A's remained two games behind the AL West-leading Seattle Mariners, who defeated the New York Yankees 2-1 Saturday.
Chad Bradford (6-3), who spent part of three seasons with the White Sox before being traded for Miguel Olivo in December of 2000, pitched 21/3 scoreless innings of relief for the win.
Oakland scored three runs in the first inning off White Sox starter Jon Garland.
Scott Hatteberg reached safely on first baseman Paul Konerko's error to lead off the game. Jose Guillen bunted safely, and one out later, Miguel Tejada drove in Hatteberg on a bloop single to left. Garland (8-8) struck out Eurbiel Durazo then gave up Hernandez's two-run double off the left-field fence for a 3-0 lead.
Guillen drove in Mark Ellis on an RBI single in the second inning.
The A's took a 6-0 lead in the third. Garland gave up a lead off single to Durazo and Hernandez followed by hitting an 0-1 pitch into the right-center stands.
Hernandez hit a solo home run, his 16th, off Billy Koch in the ninth. It was his third career multihomer game and his first of the season.
