XBOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 2 p.m. July 12 for the wedding of Wendy Kerlin and Keith Fanton, both of Youngstown.
The Rev. Norman E. Crewson officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Marcia and Scotty Fletcher, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Richard Kerlin of Newton Falls and the son of Bruce and JoAnn Fanton, 39720 Alderlick Road, Salinesville.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers before leaving for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. They live in Youngstown.
The white strapless A-line gown worn by the bride was embellished with pearls and sequins.
A lilac-colored gown was worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Kelley Kerlin. Wearing plum-colored gowns were the bridesmaids, Kim Wherry; Becky Easterling, the groom's sister; and Rose Labato. Flower girl was Tara Fanton, and ring bearer was Taylor Fanton, the groom's daughters.
Serving as best man was Mat Bielski, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Greg Kerlin; the groom's cousin, John Heckathorne; and Rob Omellan.
The bride is a manager at Wendy's, and the groom is a delivery assistant with Value City Furniture.
