Thieves take guns, electronics at homes



SHARON, Pa. -- Police are investigating two house burglaries, one of which netted a thief five loaded handguns.
Someone broke a first-floor window to get into a home in the 800 block of McClure Avenue between 6:40 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Two Taurus .357 Magnum revolvers, two Smith & amp; Wesson .38 Special revolvers and a Taurus .22-caliber stainless-steel revolver were taken, along with rolled quarters and jewelry, police said. The guns were loaded with hollow-point bullets, according to police.
There was no sign of forced entry to a home in the 500 block of Ormond Avenue on Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Police said an Orion VCR, a 20-inch RCA color television, DCM brand speakers, an Onkyo stereo receiver and a Sony 200 disc CD changer were taken.
