LORI KOWALJOSEPH SCOPELITE
XBROWNSVILLE -- Lori Lynn Kowal, 5436 Kirkland Way, Columbus, and Joseph Andrew Scopelite, 112 Three Meadows Court, Perrysburg, were married at 2 p.m. July 5 at the National Trail Schoolhouse Inn.
The Rev. J. Randy Davis officiated for the daughter of Richard and Patricia Kowal, 144 Georgetown Place, Austintown, and the son of Thomas Scopelite of Chicago and Joann and Roy Corder of San Diego.
A reception followed at the inn, and the couple spent their honeymoon on Mackinac Island, Mich.
They are living in Perrysburg.
The bride's white brocade gown was fashioned with a strapless neckline and floor-length straight skirt. A matching shawl completed her ensemble.
Her sister-in-law, Debra Kowal of Columbus, was matron of honor. She wore a periwinkle gown. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Megan and Lindsey Kowal of Columbus.
Scott Kowal of Columbus, the bride's brother, performed the duties of best man.
Mrs. Scopelite attended Youngstown State University and Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. She is employed as a secretary at Calvary Assembly of God in Toledo.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich. He is a hydraulics systems engineer with Fluid Systems Partners, U.S., in Bowling Green.
