XGIRARD -- St. Rose Church was the setting at noon July 5 as nuptial vows were exchanged by Kathleen Lesko and Edward Allen, both of 1616 Hazelwood Ave.
Monsignor Martin Susko presided at the ceremony, and afterward a reception was held at The Gallery in Hubbard to honor the daughter of Stephen T. Lesko Sr. of Youngstown and the late Eleanor Lesko and the son of the late Chester Sr. and Sophia Allen, who had lived in Youngstown.
The bride is a homemaker. Her husband holds a degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University and is employed in corrections with the state of Ohio. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and an honorary commander with the U.S. Marine Corps.
They live in Youngstown.
The bride wore a Victorian-style ivory lace and satin gown enhanced with pearls.
Stacey Hagens of Youngstown was the honor attendant, and Mary Foor of Cleveland was the bridesmaid. They wore pink gowns. Flower girl was Trista Scott.
The duties of best man were performed by Matthew Ragan of Youngstown, and groomsman was Mark Ragan of Youngstown, the bride's sons. Guests were ushered by the bride's uncle, William Gruver of Youngstown.
