XCANFIELD -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 2 p.m. July 12 at St. Michael Church as Karen Hlavac and Carl Toth, both of 156-B Eastwood Drive, Clifton Park, N.Y., were united in marriage by the Rev. Terry Hazel.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Jamaica.
The daughter of Stephen and Diane Hlavac, 19 Willow Way, Canfield, and the son of Robert and Diana Toth, 6321 Southampton Court, Fort Wayne, Ind., live in Clifton Park.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of white satin was enhanced with multicolored embroidery and featured a gathered side drape and laced-up back.
Wisteria-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Stephanie Singer, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Zajic, Jocelyn Heckman, Diane Kovach, and Shelley and Vicki Toth, sisters of the groom.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Roger Toth, and groomsmen were Gary Toth, his brother; Ron Hlavac, brother of the bride; and Scott Singer, her brother-in-law. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Clayton Korb.
The bride, a speech-language pathologist at Whispering Pines Preschool in Cobleskill, N.Y., graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a master's degree in speech-language pathology.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at OU and is a controls engineer at General Electric Industrial Systems in Schenectady, N.Y.
