Judge sets bondfor drug-ring suspects
YOUNGSTOWN -- A federal judge set bonds Thursday for two of three Trumbull County suspects who were arrested last week in what authorities are calling an international drug ring.
Bond was set at $25,000 surety for Dianna J. Palmer, 40, of Warren; and at $10,000 surety for James R. Leigh, 36, of Champion.
A court spokeswoman said Magistrate George J. Limbert did not set a bond for the third suspect, 46-year-old Bert Reghetti of Champion, because Reghetti waived his right to a detention hearing.
The three are charged with possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, and with money laundering as the result of a months-long investigation that continues.
