XYOUNGSTOWN -- Judge Maureen A. Cronin presided at the wedding of Jenny Lim and Jamie Kijowski, both of 99 N. 11th St., Brooklyn, N.Y., that took place at 5 p.m. July 4 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
A reception was held afterward at the D.D. and Velma Davis Visitor and Education Center for the daughter of Seung Min Lim of Santa Maria, Calif., and Jin Ja Lim of Alhambra, Calif., and the son of James and Christine Kijowski, 513 Wendemere Drive, Hubbard. The couple spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica and live in Brooklyn.
The bride's strapless gown of oyster-white silk featured an A-line skirt. Adding back interest was a a chapel train enhanced with a silk chiffon panel.
Amber Meyer of Monrovia, Calif., the honor attendant, designed the jade-green gown she wore, and also those of the bridesmaids, Erin Kijowksi of Cleveland, a sister of the groom, and Melissa Ray of Brooklyn.
Serving as best man was Shane Kavanagh of Brooklyn, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Albert Lim of Bethesda, Md., and Ian Humphrey of San Francisco.
The bride graduated from New York University with a master's degree in humanities and social thought. She is a promotions manager with Spring Street Networks in New York.
The groom is a teacher with the New York Department of Education in Brooklyn. He holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Denison University in Granville and is pursuing a master's in special education at the City College of New York.
