XYOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. -- The gazebo overlooking the Niagara River was the setting July 5 for the wedding of Jennifer L. George of Lewiston, N.Y., and Michael R. Moss, Staten Island, N.Y.
Judge Hugh Gee officiated at the private 4 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Joseph and Patricia George, East Eddie Street, Lewiston, and the son of Frank and Diane Moss, Leffingwell Road, Canfield.
The couple were honored at a dinner held that evening at the Clarkson House in Lewiston. They have postponed their wedding trip to Hawaii until spring.
The bride graduated from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, N.Y., with a degree in criminal justice. She is employed as a CPAcoordinator with Fed Ex Trade Networks International in Tonawanda, N.Y.
The groom is serving with the U.S. Coast Guard as a law enforcement petty officer with the Maritime Safety and Security Team, anti-terrorism unit 91106, stationed at a New York activities center in Staten Island.
The couple live on Iowa Circle, Staten Island.
