Foundation golf outing is planned



Proceeds will help physically challenged golfers.
VIENNA -- The Trumbull Memorial Hospital Foundation is inviting area golfers to participate in its benefit golf outing to be held Sept. 8 at Squaw Creek Country Club.
The 2003 Golf Classic will feature an 18-hole format, and will include green fees, carts, meals, refreshments, full use of club facilities, gifts and door prizes.
Registration and lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and play will get under way with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A dinner will be held starting at 6 p.m., and afterward there will be a raffle and an awards ceremony.
The cost for each golfer is $140, and proceeds from the event will benefit the TMH Foundation Golf Clinic for Physically Challenged Golfers and the GOLFF program at the sports complex at Forum Health Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital.
Golfers interested in participating in the event are required to register by Aug. 25.
