ASSOCIATIONS
XGold Torch Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Building in Boardman Township Park. AUXILIARIES
XStruthers K. of C. Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the hall. A talk on "Grief Management" will be presented by Sister Pauline from Catholic Charities. Hostesses will be Pat Waller, Fran Timko and Martha Sarna.
CLASSES
XWoodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny's in Boardman. No reservations are needed.
FRATERNAL GROUPS
XNiles K. of C. Council will install officers at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the hall. All members and their families are invited. Refreshments will be served.
GRANGES
XDublin Grange will meet for its annual corn and wiener roast at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the grange hall in Canfield. A regular meeting will be held at 7, and there will be election of officers. Members are asked to take articles for the Canfield Fair to this meeting.
GUILDS
XAmerican Sewing Guild will have a sit-and-sew meeting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Grace Church of the Nazarene, Webb Road, Austintown. Pillows will be created for cancer patients. Those interested are invited to attend the workshop all day or for a few hours. Lunch will include a salad and a dessert bar. SINGLES
XD.A.R.E. members will meet at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for music at Boardman Township Park. They will attend an SFAR dance at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Avalon Inn in Howland (cost is $4), and walking on the hike-bike trail on Route 224 is planned for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. from Dr. Shah's office. Golf is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mill Creek short holes, and a general meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Christian Church. XA pig roast sponsored by Salem Area Singles will be 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the VFW hall in Washingtonville. Singles and families are welcome to attend. The menu will include roast pig, chicken, kielbasa, potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, tossed salad, baked beans, rolls and butter, beverage and cake for $15 per person.
XSingle For Any Reason members will attend a dance at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Niles Moose. A meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday for members to enjoy their hobbies together. The group will meet Thursday at Cafaro Field for a concert by the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. A cookout and covered dish dinner is planned for 6 p.m. Aug. 15.

XParkinson's Support Group of Mahoning County will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, with Gertie Dudley and Ed and Bea Ratkay as hosts. The lunch bunch will meet at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at T.J.'s in the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
