Surprise party aboard Liberty Belle honors Orlando 40th anniversary

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Orlando of 5290 Jeannelynn St., were guests of honor during a surprise party July 13 aboard the Liberty Belle of the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh for the celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the honorees' children and spouses, Gabriella and Michael Hartley of Fairfax, Va., and Anthony and Melanie Orlando of Poland.
Mr. and Mrs. Orlando attended Mass July 13 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown and received a special blessing.
The former Lisa Silvestri and Mr. Orlando were married July 13, 1963, at Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Orlando was self-employed as the owner-operator of her own hairstyling shop. She works at Carmel Lynn Beauty Salon in Liberty. Now retired, Mr. Orlando was an insurance agent with Western-Southern Life Insurance Agency in Youngstown.
The couple are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She belongs to St. Monica Guild and Mother of the Crucifix. They also are involved with Youngstown Symphony Guild.
They have one granddaughter.
