Santarelli 50th is celebrated at family events

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Santarelli, 985 Afton Ave., were joined by their family as they celebrated 50 years of marriage during a dinner and overnight stay at Julia's Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard.
Family members who were hosts for the Aug. 9 and 10 event were Jolene and Don Rodenbaugh of Boardman; Jay Hambright, Virginia Beach, Va.; Lorraine Burner, Medina; and Joseph M. Santarelli, Boardman.
The couple, who have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, were married Aug. 1, 1953, at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown. They are members of St. Luke Church.
Mrs. Santarelli, the former Laura M. Sabelli, was employed at Photogenic Machine Co. and has been a homemaker for the past 20 years.
Her husband retired in 1996 from Gustafson-Pesa Electronics in Youngstown, where he was employed as an electronics repairman.
