CANFIELD
July 27
Attempted burglary: The lock was pried at a residence in the 70 block of Hilltop Boulevard. Police found nothing out of place and don't think anyone gained entry.
Aug. 2
Property damage: A house and two cars were egged in the 100 block of Garwood Drive.
AUSTINTOWN
July 27
Criminal damaging: A vehicle dashboard was damaged in the 2000 block of Amberly Drive.
Criminal damage: Two vehicles were dented -- one in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive and the other in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard. Additionally, the driver's-side window was smashed on a vehicle at Stambaugh Court and North Main Street.
Theft: A toolbox was removed from the bed of a truck in a driveway in the 300 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Drug charges: A man was arrested on two misdemeanor charges and one felony count at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive. The charges were drug abuse marijuana, drug abuse cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A male reportedly stole two cartons of cigarettes and fled in a red van from McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
July 28
Theft from autos: Four CDs and $5 in change were stolen from one vehicle, and 20 CDs were stolen from another -- both in the 200 block of South Inglewood Avenue.
Break-in: A rear shed was broken into and a Craftsman tiller was stolen in the 10 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Attempted burglary: In the 500 block of London Court, a rear door was kicked in.
July 29
Theft from auto: A cell phone, CDs and cigarettes were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Burglary: Narcotics were reported stolen from a residence in the 70 block of South Turner Road.
Auto theft: A 1992 four-door Oldsmobile Ciera was stolen from the 60 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft from vehicle: Two Pioneer CD players were stolen from the dashboard of a vehicle in the 500 block of Wilcox Road.
Burglary: A 1995 Suzuki bike was stolen from the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.
Break-in: A red and white Polaris all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the 500 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
July 30
Criminal damaging: The front window was broken out of a residence in the 100 block of North Main Street.
Theft: Ten cartons of Newport cigarettes were stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A window was broken in a vehicle in the 300 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
July 31
Theft from autos: Cash and CDs were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue, and a cell phone was stolen at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: Damage to the dashboard of a vehicle was reported in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.
Theft from auto: Sunglasses were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue.
Attempted burglary: The door was kicked in at a residence in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Aug. 1
Break-in: A trailer and a mobile classroom were broken into and candy was taken at Woodside Elementary School.
Theft: A man's ring was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Frederick Street.
Criminal damage: A window was broken at Davis Elementary School.
Criminal damage: Eggs were thrown at a vehicle in the 1200 block of Woodledge Drive.
Theft: A 20-inch Mongoose bike was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft from auto: Fifty CDs were taken from a vehicle at Noday's, 71 Oakwood Avenue.
Attempted theft: A vehicle lock was damaged in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Theft: Jewelry was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of West Hampton Court.
Theft: A man's wallet was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.
Theft from auto: A Pioneer AM-FM compact disc player was taken from the 600 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
