Holmes-Pfahler engagement is revealed

XFrancis and Kathy Holmes of Towncrest Drive, Beavercreek, and William and Lorene Pfahler of St. Andrews Drive, Canfield, are announcing the coming marriage of their children, Melissa Ann Holmes and Scott Michael Pfahler, both of Lakewood.
The couple will exchange marriage vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Oct. 4 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Beavercreek, and a reception will be held that evening at Olivia's at the Kettering Tower in Dayton. Invitations will be extended for both events.
A graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a degree in Latin American studies, Miss Holmes is doing postgraduate work at Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea.
Her fiance graduated from OU with a degree in osteopathic medicine. He is an intern at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
