Autumn wedding for Heidi Metzler, Jim Smith Jr.

XLATROBE, Pa. -- An autumn wedding is planned by Heidi Metzler and Jim Smith Jr., both of 3909 Carnegie Ave., Myrtle Beach, S.C., whose engagement is announced by her parents, Mark and Darlene Metzler of Latrobe.
The future groom is a son of Jim Sr. and Doris Smith, 1945 S. Hubbard Road, Lowellville.
The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony to be held at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Trauger, Pa. They will accept congratulations during a reception to be held by invitation at the United Amvets in United, Pa.
The bride-elect, a personal financial strategist with Bank of America in Pawleys Island, S.C., graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in international business-business administration.
Her fiance attended Thiel and is a store manager with Walgreens in Myrtle Beach.
