Ohio Athletic Commission -- meeting Aug. 6 at noon at the Metro Plex in Warrensville Heights. The purpose is to discuss the Aug. 8 John Erisey-promoted pro show in Akron, Aug. 8, the Larry McCartney-promoted pro show in Columbus, Aug. 15, and the Harry Cummings-promoted pro/amateur show in Toledo, Aug. 15. General business will also be on the agenda.

Struthers High School -- season tickets for the 2003 season are now on sale at the high school, Rip's Cafe, LaVilla Sports Bar, General Store and Transit Tours, Inc. Packages for five home games are $25 for reserved seats or $20 for general admission. Individual prices at the gate are $6 (reserved), $5 (adults) and $5 (students). Presale purchase saves the reserved and adult buyer $1 and saves the student $2. Senior citizen presale cost is $3. There will be no senior citizens ticket sales at the gate.
