YO-MAH-O Joan Giba is honored at convention



ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Joan Giba, president of the Ohio Division of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and member of the local IAAP chapter, Yo-Mah-O, was honored as Outstanding Division President in new chapter development during the IAAP international convention held July 19-24 in Albuquerque.
Giba received the award during the Recognition Plus awards ceremony in recognition of achieving the largest percentage net gain in IAAP new chapter development in the Great Lakes District. Also attending the event from the local chapter was Mary Hake.
The 53rd Ohio Division annual meeting was held in Newark in June, where Yo-Mah-O chapter received several awards, including five certificate of achievement awards and three certificate of participation awards. Chapter members in attendance at that event were Joan Battagline, Roseann Cullen, Judy Cundik, H. Marlene Dailey, Sharyn Fees, Milissa Ferraro, Tracy Goad, Mary Hake, Pauline Hruby, Barbara Kramer, Joyce Laska, Andrea McConnaughy, Ruth Milligan, Lynn Romeo, Christine Simone, Barbara Sofranec, Patricia Vallas and Giba.
