Two Ohio males face charges in Pa. robbery case

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Two Ohio residents suspected of robbing a pair of 17-year-old Grove City youths at gunpoint July 21 are now in custody, police say.
They didn't have addresses Thursday for either suspect but said both are from Ohio and both are in custody in Mahoning County.
Cashmere Rankin, 20, and a 17-year-old boy are charged with robbery and theft and will face extradition hearings. Police said the juvenile will be charged as an adult but they refused to release his name.
Cashmere and the juvenile met the two Grove City boys in the parking lot of a West Main Street business and took them for a ride, authorities said.
Police initially thought it was a kidnapping but later determined the boys willingly went with the pair.
Once they had traveled a short distance, one of the Ohio suspects produced a handgun and demanded money, taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the boys, police said.
The 17-year-old Ohio boy was picked up on a warrant Sunday and is lodged in a Mahoning County juvenile facility, police said. Rankin was picked up on a warrant Monday and is being held in the Mahoning County jail, police said.
