Mercer County man arrested in Mississippi

SHARON, Pa. -- A Mercer County man wanted in the June 16 murder of a Hermitage man has been arrested in Mississippi.
Police said Michael Anthony Rogers, 29, was picked up without incident Thursday morning in Greenville, Miss., and has waived his right to fight his return to Pennsylvania. Sharon police said today they were making arrangements for his return to Mercer County. He will be arraigned on a charge of criminal homicide upon his arrival here.
Rogers is charged in the shooting death of Elliott A. Campbell, 27, in the parking lot of Styles Restaurant & amp; Lounge at 395 E. Budd St. in the early hours of June 16.
Police said the two men argued in the restaurant and Campbell fled the building with Rogers in pursuit.
Several shots were fired at Campbell, and he was struck once in the torso, police said.
Rogers then fled the scene, police said, and he wasn't located until Thursday.
