XPOLAND -- Shari Donatella, 190 Circleview Drive, New Middletown, and Joseph Sfara, 4440 Sandy Court, New Middletown, were married at 1:30 p.m. July 12 at Holy Family Parish.
The Rev. Benson Claret Okpara presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Joseph and Amy Donatella, also of 190 Circleview Drive, and the son of Ronald and Marsha Sfara, 5130 Miller Road, Lowellville. After a reception at The Embassy, Youngstown, the couple left for Punta Cana. They live at the groom's address.
The bride's gown featured a tank-style bodice embellished with pearls and sequins and a silk satin ballgown skirt that flowed into a cathedral train.
The honor attendant, Gina Clark, wore a celadon-colored gown, as did the bridesmaids, Christiane Probst, Kim Rutkowski, Kathryn Donatella, Denise Perry, Karen Sfara and Michelle Meehan. Flower girl was Miranda Canacci.
Best man was Ronald Sfara, and groomsmen were Richard Mullen, Craig Grist, Dominic Boano, Joe Donatella, Dominic Perry III and Lou Sfara. Ring bearer was Dominic Perry IV.
The bride is a seventh-grade social studies and reading teacher with Springfield Local Schools, New Middletown. She holds a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University and graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a master's in school counseling.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at YSU and is a project accountant with the State Auditor's Office in Youngstown.
