September rite set for Miss Beatty, David Johnson Jr.

XYOUNGSTOWN -- George L. Sr. and Lois Beatty, 879 E. Lucius Ave., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Paula E. Beatty, 7544 Market St., and David W. Johnston Jr., son of David W. Sr. and Donna Johnston, all of 186 S. Surry Road, East Liverpool.
The prospective groom also is a son of the late Anna Mae Landis.
Miss Beatty earned a business certificate at Mahoning County Joint Vocational School in Canfield. She is employed as the office manager at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Johnston is a delivery driver for Wolf Den Pizza in East Liverpool.
Faith Community United Church of Christ will be the setting for the couple's wedding ceremony at 4 p.m. Sept. 27. An early evening reception is planned at Willow Creek in Girard. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and reception.
