Seme-Turek wedding is set for Oct. 4

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Veronica and John Turek, 147 Halls Heights Ave., are announcing the engagement of their son, John Michael Turek of Boca Raton, Fla., to Paige Lara Seme, 6503 Via Regina, Boca Raton. Miss Seme is a daughter of Wayne and Karen Seme of Pompano Beach, Fla.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Pier 66 Hyatt in Fort Lauderdale and for a reception to follow at the same location.
Mr. Turek graduated from ITT Technical College with a degree in electronics. His is employed as a policeman with the Boca Raton Police Department. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
His fiancee is a graduate of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C., with a degree in English and writing. She is employed as an analyst with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in Miramar, Fla.
