Road sections to close
YOUNGSTOWN -- Crory Road between U.S. Route 224 and Leffingwell Road in Canfield Township will be closed for five days, beginning Monday, while workers from the Mahoning County Engineer's Office repair a bridge one mile south of Route 224. Newton Falls Road between Mahoning Avenue and County Line Road in Milton Township will close Wednesday for a culvert replacement and reopen Thursday.
CCA receives award
YOUNGSTOWN -- Community Corrections Association has received the 2003 Community Partnership Award from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The award was for CCA's involvement with community initiatives for criminal justice, including Youngstown's Weed & amp; Seed program, felony and misdemeanor drug courts and a mental health court.
