XBOARDMAN -- A reception at Mahoning Country Club, Girard, honoring Jeff Holub and his bride, Mary Andrea Calo, followed their wedding at 1:30 p.m. June 28 at St. Charles Church.
Afterward the daughter of Catherine and John Calo, 94 Sugar Cane Drive, and the son of David and Annette Holub, 3966 Brydle Road, Kingsville, left for a honeymoon to Amsterdam, France, Spain and Italy. They live 3996 Vira, Stow.
Alencon lace appliques enhanced with crystals, pearls and sequins adorned the bride's A-line gown and chapel train.
Lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Kristen Calo and Annamarie Calo, and the bridesmaids, Mary Gangliero, Nicole Quahliero, Tammy Hartley, Susan Fleming, Juliet Hunter, Jannette Antochow, Julie Fleming and Rochelle Swan. Flower girls were Raquel DeCarbo and Paige Hartley.
Best man was Greg Holub, and groomsmen were John C. Calo, David Hartley, Mike Fleming, Dave Gura, Ted Shaffer, Brian Gray, T.J. Ketchem, Danny Cline and Alex Fiori.
Also participating were Claire Gangliero, Valerie Gangliero and Christina Fleming.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in English. She is an intern with International Partners in Mission in Cleveland, and is pursuing a master's in nonprofit organizations at Case Western Reserve University. The groom is a geologist at BJAAM Environmental in Canal Fulton. He served with the U.S. Air Force and holds a bachelor's in geology from KSU.
