XNEWTON FALLS -- Mark Robert Wirtz and his bride, the former Kendra Eileen Bailey, accepted congratulations during a reception at Roby Lee's following their marriage at 4:30 p.m. July 18 at St. Joseph Church.
The Rev. John Madden officiated at the wedding for the daughter of James and Nola Bailey, 12753 N. Palmyra Road, North Jackson, and the son of Evelyn and John Wirtz, 5232 Gault Road, North Jackson.
After a wedding trip to Fort Myers, Fla., the couple live at 1263 Woodledge Drive, Mineral Ridge.
Fashioned in an off-the-shoulder mode, the bride's ball gown featured a tulle skirt accented with metallic cord lace and pearls.
Victorian lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Hillary Barbour, and the bridesmaids, Mandy Matsouris, Teri Hull, Joelle Sayhoun, Molly Sullivan, Stephanie Newberry, Barbie Granger, and Mary Riggs. Flower girls were Brianna Long and Magan Secora.
Michael Wirtz was best man, and groomsmen were John Wirtz, Chris Secora, Caleb Munholand, Tom Merrill, Michael Christoff and Daniel Christoff. Ring bearer was Jacob Wirtz. Also participating were Nicholas Wirtz and Michael Secora.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in elementary education and his in physical therapy. She is a second-grade teacher at Sts. Mary and Joseph School, and he is a physical therapist at Easter Seals, Youngstown.
