XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Jolene Arroyo and Edward Baldado was solemnized by the Rev. John Zuraw during a 2 p.m. ceremony June 28 at St. Patrick Church.
A reception was held at the Saxon Club in Austintown to honor the daughter of Robert Arroyo and James and Barbara Forgac, all of Youngstown, and the son of Dr. Florante Baldado of Westlake and Deborah Baldado of North Olmsted. After a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple live at 1762 Ridgelawn Ave.
The bride wore a strapless gown styled with a satin cuffed bodice and full tulle skirt enhanced with sequins and pearls.
Silver-trimmed royal blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Laura Arroyo, and the bridesmaids, Sandi Cassile Arroyo, Mariah Wallace, Melissa Lucas, Jacqueline Repomonto, Shari Behun, Jill Myers, Kara Baldado and Shannon Nastasi. Junior bridesmaid was Samantha Bittinger, and flower girl was Regina Baldado.
Shaun Hardon served as best man, and groomsmen were Roey Baldado, Randall Arroyo, James Lopatta, Brian Carruthers, Patrick Stanton, James Lanigan, Michael Filbin and Christopher Olin. Junior groomsman was Erik Cassile Arroyo, and ring bearer was Dominic Naples.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education, the bride is a general equivalency diploma teacher with Youngstown City School District.
The groom, a self-employed landscaper, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in art at YSU.
