Golden event celebrated by Roths at dinner

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Steve H. Roth, 717 E. Laclede Ave., were guests of honor during a buffet dinner July 27 at St. Nicholas Activity Center in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The honorees' son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Diane Roth of Boardman, were hosts for the event.
Mr. and Mrs. Roth are members of St. Dominic Church.
Mrs. Roth, the former Edith Columbo, is a homemaker.
Retiring in 1992, Mr. Roth was a machinist at Wean United Engineering for 34 years. He served in the U.S. Army 72nd Tank Battalion's 2nd Division during the Korean War.
The couple exchanged marriage vows July 25, 1953, at Immaculate Conception Church. Their family circle includes a grandson.
