XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated at 2 p.m. June 28 for the wedding of Gayle C. Webber, daughter of William and Arletta Webber, 1916 Cover Drive, Poland, and William R. Young, son of Robert Young, 15850 Shilling Road, Berlin Center, and the late Wilma Young.
A reception followed in the grand ballroom of Holiday Inn South, Boardman, and the couple departed for a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean. They are living at 4302 Wedgewood Drive, Austintown.
The bride's lace-over-satin gown was designed in an off-the-shoulder style with long sleeves and a cathedral train. It was accented with pearls and sequins
Her sister, Holly Higginbottham, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Cindy Howle, the groom's sister, and Patricia Pratt. Junior bridesmaid was Stephanie Rankin, the bride's niece. They wore royal-blue gowns. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Kaitlyn Sahli, who wore a white dress.
John Sewruk served as best man, and groomsmen were Kirk Howle, the groom's brother-in-law; Anthony Pratt; and Chris Young, his cousin. The bride's nephews, Matthew Rankin and Devin Higginbottham, were ring bearers.
Mrs. Young attended Wright State University and graduated from MTC Police Academy in Niles. She is employed in cash logistics with Brinks Inc. in Boardman.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University and is an art teacher with the Warren City Schools.
