Dinner party honors Semchee golden event

XSTRUTHERS -- A dinner party was held July 25 at Squaw Creek Country Club, Vienna, to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Semchee, Grandview Avenue.
Hosts for the celebration were the honorees' children and their spouses, Harry and Bobbie Semchee of Mineral Ridge and Deborah McCree, Dr. James and Catherine Lessick and Barbara Semchee, all of Poland.
The family circle includes six grandchildren.
The former June Houy and Mr. Semchee exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony July 25, 1953, at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Youngstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Semchee is employed by Sadie Cleaning Co.
Retiring in 1990, Mr. Semchee worked at General Fireproofing Co., Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. and is a member of Youngstown Masonic Lodge.
